Stay on A1023 past A128 intersection
Take first right past A128. This is Middleton Hall Lane.
Courage Hall is on your right.
Coming from the A127 drive past the turning for Courage Hall until you come into Brentwood high street turn right towards Shenfield, Sawyers Hall is first on the left
From the Orsett Cock roundabout (A13 & A128 intersection ) go down the A1013 (pass the fire station immediately on the left and later, Les`s transport café on the right) and turn right into Buckingham Hill road after about one mile (if you enter Stanford-Le-Hope, you have gone too far!). Stay on this road (you will wind through some fields, pass Tarmac Ltd, a park, George & Dragon pub on a mini roundabout ) , go over the railway crossing, about half a mile on you will see the hall on the left hand side at the junction of Princess Margaret Road and Gloucester Avenue. Park outside the shops (Stanford House) in front of the apartments.
Basically, once you enter Buckingham Hill Road from the A1013, stay on it all the way.
Jikishin Events
We are really pleased to be able to announce that this year’s location for the above event will once again be held in Southend. The Course & Championships will be held in the very impressive Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre as it was last year.
The hotel and Saturday night entertainment for this year has changed. We are now staying in the Premier Inn Southend West and have arranged a trip to London by coach on the Saturday Evening.
The Premier Inn is situated next to the Strawberry Fields Pub and Restaurant.
London City Walks have organized a personal walking tour of London concluding at the Crosse Keys pub where we can eat drink and get merry. The coach will then collect us and return us safely to the hotel.
Hotel Rates are as follows;
All room prices are £64.00 per night under 16’s may share room with 2 adults at no extra cost.
Breakfast is optional at £7.50 per person for a full English and £5.25 per person for a continental.
Saturday Night Entertainment;
Coach collection from Premier Inn at 18:30 and London City Walk London City excursion £21.00.
I have left your evening meal open for those who want to site see round London after the tour or hit a night club. However London City Walks are going to suggest a few good restaurants if you would like me to book you a table please email me and let me know.
If you wish to stay at the hotel we are required to pay 50% of the room price by the 1st October 2009 and the remainder including Saturday Night Excursion 16th October 2009.

To retain these prices could all Sensei’s please try to encourage students to take advantage of the two-night package rather than just one night. This of course will also help with the ambiance of the whole weekend.

The course this year will start at 08.30. Registration for all competitors closes at 10.30 anyone who has not registered will not be able to compete.
To reserve a room email sarahbull@blueyonder.co.uk all rooms must be booked with Sarah no later than 21st September 2009 (please note that the deposits are non-refundable) all rooms will be dealt with on a first come first served basis. Any booking that is not accompanied with a payment will not be accepted.
Please note that should anyone book a room and fail to turn up they will be charged the full amount by the hotel.

Price is £20 per head for a five course meal, and disco.
Vegetarian meals can be provided. Also for those who do not like Chinese, an English alternative can be provided.

Sensei Herbert advised that the Tilbury Club will be designated as an Instructors Club. Special instruction will be organised for those going ahead with Dan Gradings, Syllabus questions and queries will be addressed, Kata checked, and Instructors will be in a position to request specific training to meet their individual requirements. The Club will cater to all instructors within the Jikishin Ju Jitsu Association. Sensei Brian Herbert will be coaching.

All the courses are £15.00, and open to all students / instructors (excludes BJJA, Instructor and Referee / Officials Courses).
Kyu Gradings are £20.00 including belt.
Ko-Budo is £20.00, and includes assessment, if qualified.
All payments have to be received 2 weeks prior to the date - late comers will be charged an additional £5.00, this includes turning up on the day without prior booking.
